Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Assemble Tripod: Extend the tripod legs until they are fully spread and stable. Secure any locking mechanisms on the tripod base.
- Attach Light Head: Mount the halogen work light head onto the top of the tripod stand. Ensure it is securely fastened using the provided knobs or screws. The light head is designed to swivel for directional adjustment.
- Adjust Height: Loosen the adjustment knob on the tripod pole to extend or retract the pole to your desired height. Tighten the knob firmly to secure the height.
- Adjust Light Angle: Use the knobs on the sides of the light head to adjust its vertical angle. Loosen, position, and then tighten to secure.
- Positioning: Place the assembled work light on a stable, level surface in the desired location. Ensure the power cord is routed safely to avoid tripping hazards.

Operating Instructions
- Connect Power: Plug the 6-foot power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.
- Turn On/Off: Locate the red power button on the back of the light head. Press the button to turn the light ON. Press it again to turn the light OFF.
- Adjust Light Direction: The light head can be swiveled horizontally and tilted vertically. Loosen the side knobs to adjust the tilt, and rotate the entire light head on its mount for horizontal adjustment. Tighten all knobs securely once the desired position is achieved.
- Brightness: The 500-watt halogen bulb provides powerful, bright illumination suitable for large areas.
Maintenance
Bulb Replacement:
- WARNING: Always unplug the work light and allow the bulb to cool completely before attempting replacement.
- To replace the bulb, carefully remove the protective wire cage by unlatching it from the top and bottom.
- Gently pull the old halogen bulb straight out from its ceramic sockets.
- When installing a new bulb, DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PORTION OF THE BULB WITH BARE HANDS. Oils from your skin can cause hot spots and premature bulb failure. Use a clean cloth or gloves to handle the new bulb.
- Insert the new 500-watt halogen bulb into the ceramic sockets, ensuring it is fully seated.
- Reattach the protective wire cage securely.
Cleaning:
- Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the reflector and bulb free of dust and debris for optimal light output.
Storage:
- Store the work light in a dry, protected area when not in use.
- The tripod can be collapsed for more compact storage.
Troubleshooting
- Light does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Verify the power button is pressed to the ON position.
- Inspect the halogen bulb for breakage or a burnt filament. Replace if necessary (refer to Bulb Replacement section).
- Check the circuit breaker or fuse for the outlet.
- Light flickers:
- Ensure the bulb is properly seated in its sockets.
- Check for loose connections in the power cord or outlet.
- The bulb may be nearing the end of its lifespan. Consider replacing it.
