Setup and Installation
1. Physical Installation
- Mount the Main Unit: Choose a dry, accessible location near your sump pit or area to be monitored, within range of your Wi-Fi network. Use the provided screws or adhesive pads to mount the unit securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the 12VDC power adapter into the main unit and then into a standard 120VAC outlet. The Power indicator LED should illuminate.
- Install Float Switch: Attach the float switch to the discharge pipe in your sump pit using the provided zip ties. Position it at the desired high-water alarm level, ensuring it can move freely. Connect the float switch wires to the designated terminals on the removable terminal block (Input 1 or Input 2).
- Install Water Leak Sensor (Optional): Place the water leak sensor on the floor in an area prone to leaks. Connect its wires to an available input on the terminal block.
- Install Depth Sensor (Optional): If using the depth sensor, ensure it is positioned vertically in the sump pit, with the bottom of the sensor at the lowest water level you wish to monitor. Connect its wires to the designated depth sensor terminals.

Alarm Configuration
You can customize alarm thresholds and notification preferences through the LEVEL SENSE app or online portal.

Image: Screenshot of the alarm configuration interface within the LEVEL SENSE system. It displays adjustable settings for various alarm types, including water level percentage, minimum and maximum temperature, minimum and maximum humidity, power good status, leak sensor state, and float switch state. For each setting, options are available to trigger a relay, siren, or email notification.
Maintenance
- Regular Checks: Periodically check the physical connections of all sensors and the power adapter.
- Sensor Cleaning: Ensure float switches and leak sensors are free from debris or buildup that could impede their function.
- Battery: The internal battery is designed for long-term use and recharges automatically. No user maintenance is required for the battery.
- Firmware Updates: The device may receive automatic firmware updates to improve performance and add features. Ensure your device remains connected to Wi-Fi.
Troubleshooting
- No Power Indicator: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the unit and a working 120VAC outlet.
- Cloud Indicator Not Solid: This indicates a Wi-Fi connection issue. Verify your Wi-Fi network is active and within range. Re-run the Wi-Fi setup process via the app if necessary. Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz.
- False Alarms: Check sensor placement and connections. Ensure float switches move freely and are not obstructed. Verify leak sensors are dry. Review alarm thresholds in the app/portal.
- No Notifications: Confirm your contact information (phone number, email) is correct in the app/portal. Check your spam/junk folders for email alerts. Ensure the device has a stable cloud connection (solid Cloud LED).
- Inaccurate Water Depth Readings: If using a depth sensor, ensure it is clean and properly calibrated. Humidity fluctuations can affect depth sensor accuracy; consider maintaining stable humidity in the monitored area.
- Device Offline After Network Reboot: If the device does not reconnect automatically after a network reboot, try pressing the Reset button on the unit.
