Setup & Assembly
Assembly of the Meccasaur is a modular process, allowing you to build individual sections before combining them. This approach simplifies troubleshooting during construction.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all pieces from the box and organize them according to the instruction guide.
- Follow Instruction Guide: Refer to the detailed instruction guide for step-by-step assembly. Use the provided hand tools to secure parts.
- Modular Construction: Build the legs, arms, head, and body sections separately as instructed. This allows for easier correction of any assembly errors.
- Battery Installation: The Meccasaur requires 4 C batteries (not included). Install them into the designated battery compartment, typically located within the main body module. Ensure correct polarity.
- Final Assembly: Connect all the completed modules to form the full Meccasaur. Double-check all connections and ensure all screws are tightened.

Operating Instructions
The Meccasaur offers various modes of interaction and control:
- Autonomous Mode: Once powered on, the Meccasaur can exhibit realistic T-Rex behaviors, including walking, roaring, and stomping, without direct user input.
- Direct Control: Use the control unit (Meccasaur Brain) located on its back to direct its movements, record sequences of actions, and trigger specific responses.
- Interactive Responses: The Meccasaur responds to petting, answers yes/no questions, and can even act as a guard, reacting to noise and light.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Meccasaur, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the Meccasaur. Avoid using water or cleaning solutions, as they may damage electronic components.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Replace all batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type.
- Storage: Store the Meccasaur in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Joint Inspection: Periodically check all joints and connections for looseness. Tighten any loose screws using the provided tools.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Meccasaur, try the following:
- No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are fresh. Check the power switch on the Meccasaur Brain.
- Limited Movement: Verify all motor connections are secure. Check for any obstructions in the gears or joints.
- Incorrect Responses: Refer to the instruction guide for proper command input. Ensure the environment is not too noisy for voice commands.
- Assembly Issues: If parts are not fitting correctly, re-examine the instruction guide for the specific step. The modular design allows for easier disassembly and reassembly of individual sections.
