1. Product Overview

The GameSir G3w Wired Edition is a versatile game controller designed for a seamless gaming experience across multiple platforms. Featuring a 32-bit MCU chip for high computation capability, it offers wired plug-and-play connectivity. The controller is compatible with Android 4.0/Windows XP and later versions, supporting Android smartphones, tablets, Windows PCs, and PS3 consoles.

Its 8-way D-pad is designed for tactile feedback and precise directional input, while dual vibration motors provide immersive feedback in supported games.

2. Setup and Connection

2.1. PC Connection (Windows 7/8/8.1/10)

  1. Connect the controller's micro USB cable to the included USB adapter.
  2. Plug the USB adapter into an available USB port on your Windows PC.
  3. The system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. No manual driver installation is required.
  4. The controller is now ready for use with PC games that support X-input mode.

2.2. Android Device Connection (Android 4.0 - 6.0)

Note: Your Android device must fully support the OTG (On-The-Go) function. The controller does not support Android 7.0 or above.

  1. Connect the controller's micro USB cable directly to your Android smartphone or tablet.
  2. The device should recognize the controller automatically.
  3. For an enhanced mobile gaming experience, attach the included phone bracket to the controller.

2.3. PS3 Connection

  1. Connect the controller's USB cable (using the adapter if needed) to an available USB port on your PlayStation 3 console.
  2. The PS3 will recognize the controller for gameplay.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Button Layout and Functions

The GameSir G3w features a familiar console-style button layout, including:

  • D-pad: 8-way directional pad for precise movement.
  • Analog Sticks: Dual 360-degree joysticks without dead zones.
  • Action Buttons (A/B/X/Y): With color LED backlighting.
  • Shoulder Buttons (L1/R1) and Triggers (L2/R2): For various in-game actions.
  • SELECT/BACK, START, HOME/GAME SIR buttons: For system and game menu navigation.
  • TURBO button: Activates auto-fire function.
  • CLEAR button: Cancels auto-fire function.

3.2. Auto-Fire Function

  • To activate auto-fire: Press and hold the TURBO button along with the desired action button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L1, R1, L2, R2).
  • To adjust auto-fire frequency: Hold down the TURBO button and press the D-pad UP/DOWN to increase or decrease the frequency.
  • To cancel auto-fire: Press and hold the CLEAR button along with the button for which auto-fire is active.

3.3. Vibration Feedback

The controller supports vibration feedback, providing an immersive experience in games that feature a vibration mode.

4. Compatibility and Supported Games

The GameSir G3w is compatible with:

  • Operating Systems: Android 4.0 and later (up to 6.0), Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10.
  • Devices: Android smartphones, tablets, TV boxes, Windows PCs, and PlayStation 3.

Important Notes:

  • Does not support Android 7.0 or above, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Mac, or iOS.
  • GameSir gamepad is guaranteed to work with games from the "Happy Chick" App, Android native games, and X-input mode games.
  • For multi-player setups, users can connect multiple game controllers to their device via a USB HUB.

5. Maintenance
