2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the compressor is connected to a properly grounded outlet with the correct voltage (220-240V / 50Hz). Do not operate with damaged cords or plugs. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.
  • Pressure Safety: Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of 4 bars (57 PSI). Do not tamper with the safety/drain valve. Always release air pressure from the tank before disconnecting hoses or performing maintenance.
  • Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block air vents.
  • Personal Protection: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, when operating the airbrush system.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the compressor during operation.
  • Storage: Store the compressor in a dry, clean, and secure location when not in use.
  • Intended Use: Use the compressor only for its intended purpose of airbrushing and related applications as described in this manual.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the compressor from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the compressor on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for air circulation.
  3. Connect Airbrush Hose: Connect your airbrush hose to the G 1/8 air connection port on the pressure regulator. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent air leaks.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into a grounded 220-240V / 50Hz electrical outlet.
  5. Initial Check: Before first use, ensure all connections are tight and the drain valve on the air tank is closed.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The compressor will start to fill the air tank.
  2. Automatic Operation: The compressor will automatically stop once the pressure in the 3-liter air tank reaches 4 BAR (57 PSI). It will then automatically restart when the pressure drops to 3 BAR (43 PSI) during use. This ensures a consistent air supply without constant motor operation.
  3. Adjusting Pressure: Use the knob on the pressure regulator to adjust the desired working pressure. Turn clockwise to increase pressure and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Monitor the manometer to set the precise pressure required for your airbrushing task.
  4. Airbrush Use: Once the desired pressure is set, you can begin using your airbrush. The air filter will ensure clean, dry air is delivered to your airbrush.
  5. Power Off: After use, turn off the compressor by flipping the power switch to the "OFF" position.
  6. Release Residual Pressure: It is recommended to release any residual air pressure from the tank by opening the drain valve or briefly activating your airbrush until the manometer reads zero.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.

  • Drain Air Tank: After each use, or at least daily, open the drain valve at the bottom of the air tank to release any accumulated moisture. This prevents rust and extends the tank's life.
  • Clean Air Filter: Periodically check the air filter on the pressure regulator. If it appears dirty, clean or replace it according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure clean air delivery.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the compressor with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Check Connections: Regularly inspect all air connections and hoses for leaks or damage. Tighten any loose connections.
  • Overheat Protection: The compressor has automatic overheat protection. If it shuts down due to overheating, allow it to cool down completely before restarting. Ensure proper ventilation.

7. Troubleshooting

Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Compressor does not start. No power, power switch off, thermal overload.Check power connection and outlet. Ensure power switch is ON. Allow compressor to cool down if it overheated.
No air output or low pressure.Air tank empty, pressure regulator set too low, air leaks, clogged air filter.Allow tank to fill. Adjust pressure regulator. Check all connections for leaks. Clean or replace air filter.
Inconsistent air pressure (pulsation).Air tank not fully pressurized, regulator malfunction.Ensure air tank is allowed to fill completely. If problem persists, contact support.
Compressor overheats and shuts off.Prolonged use, poor ventilation.Allow the unit to cool down. Ensure adequate ventilation around the compressor. Avoid continuous operation for extended periods.
Excessive moisture in air output.Air tank not drained, clogged air filter.Regularly drain the air tank. Clean or replace the air filter.
