2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview
The Singing Machine SML605BK is a portable karaoke system featuring a CD+G player, Bluetooth connectivity, USB playback, dancing water fountain, and LED disco lights. It includes a 3-digit LED display and various controls for audio adjustment.

Controls and Ports:
- Power ON/OFF Button: Turns the unit on or off.
- Function Button: Selects between CD+G, Bluetooth, USB, and Line-in modes.
- Master Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall sound output level.
- Microphone Volume Knob: Adjusts the microphone input level.
- Echo Control Knob: Adds an echo effect to the microphone sound.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
5.2 Microphone Connection
Insert the microphone plug into the MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack on the front of the unit.
5.3 Connecting to a TV (Optional)
To display lyrics from CD+G discs on your television, use the included RCA Audio/Video cable.
- Connect the yellow plug from the RCA cable to the VIDEO OUT jack on the karaoke system and the yellow video input jack on your TV.
- Connect the red and white plugs from the RCA cable to the AUDIO OUT (R/L) jacks on the karaoke system and the corresponding red and white audio input jacks on your TV.
- Select the correct video input source on your TV (e.g., AV1, Video, Input).

5.4 Tablet Cradle
Place your tablet or smartphone in the integrated cradle on top of the unit for easy viewing of lyrics or streaming content.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
Press the POWER ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn the unit off.
6.2 CD+G Playback
- Press the FUNCTION button to select CD+G mode.
- Open the CD door and carefully place a CD+G disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up. Close the CD door.
- The track number will appear on the LED display. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
- Adjust the MASTER VOLUME, MIC VOLUME, ECHO, and BALANCE controls as desired.
6.3 Bluetooth Pairing and Streaming
Stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Press the FUNCTION button to select Bluetooth mode. The LED display will show 'BT' and flash.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for 'SINGING MACHINE'.
- Select 'SINGING MACHINE' to pair. A chime will sound when successfully paired, and 'BT' will stop flashing.
- Start playing music on your Bluetooth device. Audio will stream through the karaoke system.

6.4 USB Playback (MP3+G)
Play MP3+G files directly from a USB flash drive.
- Insert a USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32) containing MP3+G files into the USB port.
- Press the FUNCTION button to select USB mode. The LED display will show 'USB'.
- The system will automatically begin playing the first track. Use the SKIP buttons to navigate tracks.
6.5 Line-in Connection
Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, MP3 player) using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the LINE IN jack on the karaoke system.
- Connect the other end to the headphone or audio output jack of your external device.
- Press the FUNCTION button to select Line-in mode.
- Start playing music on your external device.
6.6 Microphone Usage
Adjust the MIC VOLUME knob to control the microphone's loudness. Use the ECHO knob to add a reverberation effect. The AUTO VOICE CONTROL (AVC) button can be pressed to automatically reduce the lead vocals on multiplex CD+G tracks when you sing into the microphone.
6.7 Dancing Water Fountain and LED Lights
The system features a synchronized dancing water fountain and multi-colored LED disco lights.
- The dancing water fountain activates automatically when music is playing.
- Press the LED DISCO LIGHT button to turn the disco lights on or off. The lights will synchronize with the music.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the water fountain area, ensure the unit is unplugged and use a damp cloth to gently clean any residue. Do not immerse the unit in water.
7.2 Storage
When not in use, store the karaoke system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the power adapter and store cables neatly.
8. Troubleshooting
