1. Introduction

The NUX Mighty 30SE is a programmable digital guitar amplifier designed to provide a versatile range of tones and effects for guitarists. Utilizing TS/AC (True Simulation of Analog Circuit) technology, this amplifier delivers dynamic and touch-responsive sound. It features 30 watts of power, a 1x10" speaker, and the ability to store up to 16 user presets. The Mighty 30SE also includes a built-in tuner, various effects, and USB connectivity for system updates and tone editing.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.

4.2 Placement

Position the amplifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near strong electromagnetic fields.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided power cord to the AC IN jack on the rear panel of the amplifier.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable AC outlet.

4.4 Initial Power-On

After connecting the power, connect your guitar to the INPUT jack. Turn the MASTER volume knob to its minimum setting. Flip the POWER switch to the ON position. The amplifier will power on, and the display will illuminate.

The NUX Mighty 30SE features an intuitive control panel for easy access to its various functions. Refer to Figure 2 for a visual guide to the controls.

7. Presets and Effects

7.1 Selecting Presets

The Mighty 30SE allows you to store and recall 16 presets. Use the BANK button to cycle through preset banks (A, B, C, D). Within each bank, use the A, B, C, D buttons (or footswitch) to select individual presets.

7.2 Saving Presets

  1. Adjust the amplifier settings (amp model, gain, EQ, effects, etc.) to your desired tone.
  2. Press and hold the SAVE button until the display flashes.
  3. Use the BANK button and A/B/C/D buttons to select the desired preset location to save your tone.
  4. Press the SAVE button again to confirm and store the preset.

7.3 Using Effects

Rotate the EFX knob to select and adjust modulation effects. Rotate the DELAY/REV knob to select and adjust delay and reverb effects. The intensity or type of effect will change as you turn the knob.

Effects not working.
  • EFX or DELAY/REV knob set to minimum or OFF.
  • Effect type not selected.
  • Rotate EFX or DELAY/REV knob to desired setting.
  • Ensure an effect type is selected.
