Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SadoTech Wireless Doorbell, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Battery Replacement: The wireless transmitters use an A23 battery, which typically lasts up to 3 years. When the transmitter's LED light no longer illuminates or the range decreases, it's time to replace the battery. Carefully open the transmitter casing, replace the old battery with a new A23 battery, and re-seal the casing.
- Cleaning: Clean the surfaces of both the transmitter and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which may damage the finish.
- Weather Protection: While the transmitters are designed to be weather-resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures) may affect performance. Consider placing the transmitter in a sheltered location if possible.
