1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Ibiza SLK-12A BT Powered Speaker System. This professional audio system is designed for sound reinforcement and public address applications, offering robust performance and versatile connectivity. 2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Power Source: Connect the unit only to a 220V AC power outlet. Ensure the power cord is not damaged or pinched.
  • Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Ensure adequate airflow around the speakers to prevent overheating.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the speakers to rain, moisture, or any liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on or near the speakers.
  • Heat Sources: Keep the speakers away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.
  • Cleaning: Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Servicing: Do not attempt to service this product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  • Speaker Stands: Always ensure speaker stands are properly assembled and stable before mounting speakers. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 25 kg per stand. Ensure the speaker is securely fastened to the stand.
  • Hearing Protection: Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can cause permanent hearing damage. Use caution when setting volume levels.

3. Setup and Connections

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed below are present:

  • Power Cable (x2)

3.2 Speaker Stand Assembly

  1. Unfold the tripod legs of the speaker stand until they are fully extended and stable.
  2. Tighten the knob at the base of the tripod to secure the legs.
  3. Loosen the height adjustment knob and extend the telescopic mast to the desired height (120 cm to 180 cm).
  4. Insert the steel safety pin into the appropriate hole to secure the mast height.
  5. Tighten the height adjustment knob firmly.
  6. Carefully lift each speaker and place it onto the 35mm pole mount at the top of each stand. Ensure the speaker is seated securely.

  • SD/USB Port: For connecting SD cards and USB flash drives for MP3/WMA playback.
  • MP3/LINE Switch: Toggles between MP3 player (USB/SD/Bluetooth) and RCA Line Input.
  • IR Receiver: For the infrared remote control.
  • Bluetooth Indicator: Lights up when Bluetooth is connected.
  • VOLUME: Master volume control for all inputs.
  • BASS/TREBLE: Tone controls for low and high frequencies.
  • ECHO: Adjusts the echo effect for microphones.
  • MIC VOLUME: Adjusts the volume of the microphone inputs.
  • LINE INPUT (RCA): Stereo RCA inputs for external audio sources (e.g., mixer, CD player).

  • SPEAKER OUT (Speakon): Output for connecting a passive external speaker (8 ohms minimum impedance).
  • POWER Switch: Turns the speaker ON/OFF.
  • AC INPUT: Power cable connection (220V).

3.4 Audio Connections

Before connecting any audio sources, ensure the speaker's power switch is in the OFF position and the master VOLUME knob is set to minimum.

  • Microphones: Connect up to two dynamic microphones to the MIC INPUT (6.35mm Jack) ports.
  • External Audio Source (RCA): Connect devices like CD players, mixers, or other audio equipment to the LINE INPUT (RCA) ports.
  • USB/SD Card: Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into the respective port. The speaker will automatically switch to MP3 mode if the MP3/LINE switch is set to MP3.
  • External Passive Speaker: For expanding your sound system, connect a passive speaker (with an impedance of 8 ohms or higher) to the SPEAKER OUT (Speakon) port.
  • Linking Speakers: To connect multiple powered speakers, use the LINE OUTPUT (RCA) of one speaker to the LINE INPUT (RCA) of another.

3.5 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the AC INPUT on the rear panel of each speaker, then plug the other end into a standard 220V AC power outlet.

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On/Off

Ensure all connections are secure and the master VOLUME knob is at its minimum setting before powering on.

  • To power on, flip the POWER switch to the "ON" position.
  • To power off, flip the POWER switch to the "OFF" position.

4.2 Source Selection

Use the MP3/LINE switch on the rear panel to select your desired audio source:

  • Set to MP3 for USB, SD card, or Bluetooth audio.
  • Set to LINE for RCA line input audio.

4.3 USB/SD Card Playback

When a USB drive or SD card is inserted and the source is set to MP3, the speaker will automatically begin playing compatible audio files (MP3/WMA).

  • Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Repeat) on the rear panel or the remote control.

4.4 Bluetooth Pairing

To stream audio wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet:

  1. Ensure the MP3/LINE switch is set to MP3.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  3. Search for available devices and select "IBIZA SOUND" (or similar) from the list.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator on the rear panel will illuminate, and you can stream audio.

4.5 Volume and Tone Adjustment

  • Master Volume: Use the large VOLUME knob to adjust the overall output level of the speaker.
  • Microphone Volume: Adjust the MIC VOLUME knob for the desired level of connected microphones.
  • Echo Effect: Turn the ECHO knob to add or reduce the echo effect on the microphone inputs.
  • Bass and Treble: Use the BASS and TREBLE knobs to fine-tune the low and high frequencies of the audio output.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and performance of your speakers:

  • Always disconnect the power cable before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the speaker grille or control panel.

5.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speakers in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging or a protective cover to prevent dust accumulation and damage.

6. Troubleshooting
