Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove the fan from its packaging. Inspect the fan for any signs of damage. If any damage is observed, do not operate the fan and contact customer support.
Placement
Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the fan for proper airflow. Avoid placing the fan near curtains, loose papers, or other objects that could be drawn into the fan blades. The fan is equipped with plastic feet for stability; ensure these are properly positioned to prevent tipping.
Operating Instructions
Power Connection
Plug the fan directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips with this fan.
Speed Settings
The Lasko 20 Inch Box Fan features a rotary control dial located on the top of the unit. This dial allows you to select from three different speed settings:
- Setting 1 (Low): For gentle air circulation and minimal noise.
- Setting 2 (Medium): For moderate airflow.
- Setting 3 (High): For maximum airflow and cooling.
To turn the fan ON, rotate the dial from the '0' (OFF) position to your desired speed setting (1, 2, or 3). To turn the fan OFF, rotate the dial back to the '0' position.
Maintenance
Always unplug the fan before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
Cleaning
- Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan.
