Important Safety Information

Installation Instructions

2. Remove Existing Switch: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the electrical box. Disconnect the wires from the old switch, noting which wire was connected to which terminal.
3. Identify Wires: Identify the following wires in your electrical box:
   • Hot Wire (Line): Typically black, brings power from the circuit breaker.
   • Load Wire: Typically black, connects to the fan or light fixture.
   • Neutral Wire: Typically white, required for this timer switch.
   • Ground Wire: Typically green or bare copper.
4. Wire the Timer Switch: Connect the wires from your electrical box to the corresponding wires on the BN-LINK timer switch using the provided wire nuts.
   • Connect the Hot Wire from the wall to the Black Wire of the timer.
   • Connect the Load Wire from the fixture to the Red Wire of the timer.
   • Connect the Neutral Wire from the wall to the White Wire of the timer.
   • Connect the Ground Wire from the wall to the Green Wire of the timer.
5. Mount the Switch: Carefully push the wired timer switch into the electrical box. Secure it with the provided mounting screws.
6. Install Wall Plate: Attach the included wall plate over the timer switch.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

The BN-LINK Digital Countdown Wall Timer Switch features intuitive push-button controls for easy operation. Each button has a small LED indicator that illuminates when active.

1. Preset Countdown Functions

The timer offers six preset countdown durations: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes (1 hour), 2 hours, and 4 hours. To activate a countdown:

• Press the button corresponding to your desired countdown time (e.g., "5 Min", "15 Min", "1 Hour").
• The LED indicator next to the selected button will illuminate, and the connected device (fan/light) will turn on.
• The device will automatically turn off once the countdown period expires.

2. Manual ON/OFF

The "ON/OFF" button allows for continuous operation or immediate shut-off, overriding any active countdown or repeat function.

• Press "ON/OFF" once to turn the connected device on indefinitely. The "ON/OFF" LED will illuminate.
• Press "ON/OFF" again to turn the connected device off immediately. The "ON/OFF" LED will turn off.

3. Repeat Function

The "REPEAT" button activates a daily repeat for the currently selected countdown program.

• While a countdown program is active, press the "REPEAT" button. The "REPEAT" LED will illuminate.
• The selected countdown will automatically run at the same time every day.
• To deactivate the repeat function, press the "REPEAT" button again. The LED will turn off.
• Alternatively, pressing the "ON/OFF" button will also cancel the repeat function.
