1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your UpBright 29.4V AC/DC Adapter. This adapter is designed to provide power and charge compatible devices, specifically Hoverstar LBW14 25.2V/24V Lithium Li-ion Battery Hoverboards. 2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product or connected devices.

• Ensure the adapter's output voltage (29.4V) and connector type (Barrel Round Plug) are compatible with your device. This adapter is specifically for 25.2V or 24V systems and is NOT compatible with 36V or 42V systems, nor devices requiring a 3-prong connector.
• Do not expose the adapter to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

4. Setup

1. Verify Compatibility: Before connecting, confirm that your device (e.g., Hoverstar LBW14 hoverboard) requires a 29.4V DC input and has a barrel round plug charging port. This adapter is designed for 25.2V/24V Lithium Li-ion batteries.
2. Connect to Device: Insert the barrel round plug of the adapter firmly into the charging port of your hoverboard.
3. Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the AC power cord of the adapter into a standard 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz electrical wall outlet.
4. Begin Charging: Once connected, the device should begin charging.

5. Operating Instructions

Once properly connected, the adapter will supply power to your device and initiate the charging process. The charging duration will vary depending on the battery capacity and its current charge level.

• Charging Indicator: Please note that this adapter may not feature a built-in charging indicator light. It is recommended to monitor your device's own charging indicator (if available) or track charging time based on the manufacturer's recommendations for your hoverboard.
• Overcharge Protection: The adapter is equipped with Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Current Protection (OCP), and Short Circuit Protection (SCP) to safeguard your device during charging.

• Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from both the power outlet and the device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.

• Device Not Charging:

  • Battery Condition: Rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan (typically 1 to 3 years).   • Adapter Compatibility: Double-check that the adapter's output voltage (29.4V) and plug type (barrel round plug) precisely match your device's requirements. Incompatibility is a common reason for non-charging.
• Adapter Does Not Fit:
  • Confirm that your device's charging port is a barrel round plug. This adapter is not designed for 3-prong connectors. Refer to Figures 2.1 and 2.2 for visual confirmation.
  • Ensure the dimensions of the barrel plug match your device's port.
• Adapter Overheating:
  • Unplug the adapter immediately.
