2. Safety Precautions
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Never operate this generator indoors or in poorly ventilated areas. Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, which is a colorless, odorless, and poisonous gas that can cause serious injury or death. Always use outdoors in a well-ventilated space.
- Fuel Handling: Gasoline is highly flammable. Always refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cooled. Do not smoke or use open flames near the generator. Gasoline is not included with the product; please purchase it separately.
- Initial Battery Connection: For safety during shipping, the battery coupler for the electric starter is disconnected. Before initial engine startup, remove the right-side panel (the side without the main control panel) and connect the battery coupler.
- Hot Surfaces: The engine and exhaust components become very hot during operation and remain hot for some time after shutdown. Avoid touching these areas to prevent burns.
- Electrical Safety: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are secure and dry.

4. Setup
Before operating the generator for the first time, perform the following setup steps:
- Connect Battery Coupler: As a safety measure, the battery coupler for the electric starter is disconnected upon delivery. Locate the right-side panel (opposite the main control panel), remove it, and securely connect the battery coupler.
- Add Engine Oil: The generator is shipped without engine oil. Fill the engine with 0.45 liters of recommended 4-cycle engine oil (SAE 10W-40). Use the provided oil funnel. Do not overfill.
- Add Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with unleaded regular gasoline. The tank capacity is 7 liters. Do not overfill and ensure the fuel cap is securely closed.
- Grounding: For safety, connect a grounding wire to the earth terminal and a suitable ground source.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Engine
Follow these steps to start the generator:

Image: A series of four images illustrating the preparation steps for starting the generator, including turning the fuel cap and fuel cock to ON, setting the Eco mode switch to OFF, and adjusting the choke lever.
- Turn the fuel cap knob to the ON position.
- Turn the fuel cock knob to the ON position.
- Set the Eco mode switch to OFF.
- Align the choke lever to the arrow position (choke ON).
- Turn the engine switch to the RUN position.

Image: Two images demonstrating the starting methods: pulling the recoil starter handle and turning the engine switch to the 'Start' position. A third image shows the generator running with the output lamp illuminated and the choke lever in the run position.
Choose one of the following starting methods:
- Recoil Starter: Pull the recoil starter handle vigorously until the engine starts.
- Electric Starter: Turn the engine switch to the START position and hold until the engine starts.
Once the engine starts and the green output lamp illuminates, return the choke lever to the run position. You can now connect your electrical equipment to the outlets.
5.2 Stopping the Engine
To stop the generator, follow these steps:

Image: Three images illustrating the stopping procedure for the generator, including turning the engine switch to 'Stop', and turning the fuel cock and fuel cap knobs to OFF.
- Turn the engine switch to the STOP position.
- Turn the fuel cock knob to the OFF position.
- Turn the fuel cap knob to the OFF position.
5.3 Eco Mode
The Eco Mode feature automatically adjusts the engine speed according to the electrical load. This reduces fuel consumption and operating noise when less power is required, extending the continuous operation time.
5.4 Frequency Switching (50Hz/60Hz)
The generator is equipped with a frequency switching switch, allowing you to select between 50Hz and 60Hz output to match the requirements of your electrical appliances. Ensure the correct frequency is selected before connecting devices.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your generator.
6.1 Engine Oil
- Oil Alert System: The generator features an oil warning lamp that illuminates when the engine oil level is low. If the oil level drops below a safe operating level, the engine will automatically stop to prevent damage.
- Oil Changes: Refer to the maintenance schedule in the full instruction manual for recommended oil change intervals. Always use 4-cycle engine oil with a recommended viscosity of SAE 10W-40.
- Oil Drain: Use the provided oil drain adapter for clean oil changes.
6.2 Spark Plug
The generator is equipped with a reliable NGK spark plug, ensuring stable starting performance even in cold conditions.
- Replacement Interval: Replace the spark plug after 1 year or 300 hours of operation, whichever comes first.
- Replacement Type: Always replace with a spark plug of the same type as currently installed.
- Installation: When installing a new spark plug, be careful not to damage the electrodes. Damaged electrodes can lead to electric shock or fire. Ensure the engine and spark plug have completely cooled before performing any work.
- Tightening Torque: When installing the spark plug, always observe the specified tightening torque of 15-20 Nm.
6.3 Storage
To maintain the generator's condition during periods of non-use, it is recommended to start the engine approximately once a month.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your generator, consider the following common points:
- Engine Not Starting: Check fuel level, engine oil level, spark plug condition, and ensure the battery coupler is connected (for electric start). Verify the choke lever and fuel cock are in the correct positions.
- No Power Output: Check if the output lamp is illuminated. Ensure the AC/DC breakers are not tripped. Verify the generator is not overloaded.
- Overload Warning Lamp On: Reduce the total wattage of connected appliances. The generator will automatically stop if overloaded.
- Oil Warning Lamp On: Check and refill engine oil to the recommended level.
