Setup and Installation
The Ancona Tornado II range hood is designed for wall-mount installation and ducted ventilation. It can also be converted for indoor air recirculation with the addition of an Ancona Recirculation Kit (sold separately).
Mounting and Ducting
- Ensure the installation surface is structurally sound to support the weight of the range hood.
- The unit features a standard 6-inch round diameter top motor outlet for ducted exhaust.
- For optimal performance, the range hood should be installed approximately 32 inches above the cooking surface.
- The telescoping chimney pieces are designed for ceilings up to 9 feet. Optional longer chimney kits are available for ceilings up to 10 feet 3 inches (sold separately).

- Fan Speed: The 3-speed electronic 4-button motor controls allow you to adjust the fan's extraction power.
- Delayed Auto Shut-off: This feature automatically turns off the fan after 10 minutes to ensure all cooking odors are removed.
- Lighting: Two discreetly inset halogen lights (2 x G4 - 20-watt bulbs included) provide clear illumination for your cooking surface.
