1. Introduction

The Camco TST MAX RV Toilet Treatment Drop-INs are designed to manage waste and odors in recreational vehicle (RV) and marine holding tanks. This product utilizes reactive odor-eliminating technology to provide effective odor control and aid in the breakdown of waste and tissue. Each drop-in is formulated to treat up to a 40-gallon tank for up to seven days. The product is non-formaldehyde, septic-tank safe, and proudly made in the USA.

2. Safety Information

CAUTION: May irritate eyes or skin. Harmful if swallowed. Read carefully other cautions on back panel.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not mix with other toilet chemicals. Store in this container with top tightly sealed to keep moisture out. Keep below 140°F (60°C).

First Aid Treatment: Contains sodium percarbonate. If in eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. If on skin, wash with soap and water. If swallowed, give one or two glasses of water. Do not get in eyes or on skin. Do not swallow. Do not mix with other toilet chemicals. For medical emergencies, call 1-800-535-5053.

This product is non-formaldehyde, pesticide, and biocide free.

3. Setup and Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for optimal performance and odor control:

1. Prepare the Tank: Before initial use or after emptying, ensure your RV's black water tank is drained and flushed thoroughly. For best results, empty and flush waste tanks weekly, regardless of level.
2. Add Drop-IN: For each 40-gallon tank capacity, add one (1) TST MAX Drop-IN directly into the RV toilet bowl.
3. Add Water: After adding the drop-in, flush the toilet with enough water to cover the bottom of the tank. Approximately two quarts of water is recommended.
4. For Grey Water Tanks: Add one (1) TST MAX Drop-IN through the sink drain and flush with water for 30 seconds.
5. For Recirculating Toilets: Use one (1) TST MAX Drop-IN and follow the toilet manufacturer's specific directions.
6. Extended Use/High Temperatures: For longer holding periods, larger tanks, or in temperatures exceeding 85°F (29°C), an additional Drop-IN may be needed to maintain effectiveness.

4. Maintenance

Consistent maintenance of your RV's waste tanks is crucial for preventing odors and blockages. The TST MAX Drop-INs are a key component of this maintenance routine.

• Regularly empty your black and grey water tanks.
• Flush tanks thoroughly with fresh water after each emptying.
• Always ensure sufficient water is added to the toilet bowl after each use to help the Drop-IN dissolve and distribute effectively.
• Store unused Drop-INs in their original container with the lid tightly sealed to prevent moisture exposure, which can affect their integrity.

If you experience persistent odors or issues with waste breakdown, consider the following:

• Insufficient Dosage: Ensure you are using one Drop-IN per 40 gallons of tank capacity. For larger tanks or high temperatures, an additional Drop-IN may be necessary.
• Lack of Water: Always add enough water to the toilet bowl after adding the Drop-IN and after each use to facilitate proper dissolution and waste breakdown.
• Infrequent Emptying: Even with treatment, tanks should be emptied and flushed regularly, ideally weekly, to prevent accumulation and potential issues.
• Mixing Chemicals: Avoid mixing TST MAX with other toilet chemicals, as this can reduce effectiveness or cause adverse reactions.
