Using Accessories
The vacuum includes a crevice tool and a flip-up brush integrated into the nozzle. To use the flip-up brush, simply flip it into position over the nozzle opening. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dustbin
The dustbin should be emptied regularly, especially when debris reaches the "MAX FILL" line. To empty, locate the dustbin release latch (typically on the side of the main body). Press the latch and open the dustbin. Dispose of collected debris into a trash receptacle. Close the dustbin securely until it clicks into place.
Cleaning and Replacing the Filter
The vacuum features a 3-stage filtration system with a washable foam filter. To access the filter, first open the dustbin. The filter assembly can then be removed by twisting or pulling it out. Tap the filter gently to remove loose debris. For a more thorough cleaning, the filter can be washed with mild soap and water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting it into the vacuum. Replace the filter if it shows signs of wear or damage to maintain suction efficiency.
Troubleshooting
- Low Suction: Check if the dustbin is full and needs emptying. Inspect the filter for clogs or excessive dirt; clean or replace if necessary. Ensure the nozzle and attachments are free from obstructions.
- Vacuum Not Turning On: Verify that the 12V DC plug is securely inserted into the vehicle's socket. Check the vehicle's fuse for the 12V outlet.
- Difficulty with Large Debris: For larger items like cereal, the vacuum may require multiple passes or a specific angle of approach to prevent clogging. Ensure the nozzle is positioned directly over the debris.
- Battery Replacement: This model is designed to be powered directly by the vehicle's 12V DC socket and does not feature a user-replaceable internal battery. If the unit fails to operate when properly connected to a functioning 12V source, professional service may be required.
