Maintenance
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This rating means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-pressure water activities. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.
Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch case or strap.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one product-specific battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained. Improper battery replacement can compromise the watch's water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch display is blank or dim: The battery may be depleted. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the "Setting Time and Date" instructions. Ensure the 12/24 hour format is set correctly.
- Water appears inside the watch: Immediately cease use and consult a professional watch repair service. This indicates a breach in the water resistance seal.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a feature of this model). If the issue persists, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be required.
