Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge your Ultimate Ears BOOM 2. Connect the included micro-USB cable to the charging port on the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
- Turn on your BOOM 2 speaker by pressing the power button located on the top.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (located near the power button) until you hear a tone and the LED indicator flashes rapidly.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "UE BOOM 2" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone from the speaker, and the LED will turn solid.
Your BOOM 2 can remember up to eight paired devices and connect to two source devices simultaneously.

PartyUp Feature
To use PartyUp, ensure all speakers are updated to the latest firmware via the UE BOOM app. Open the app, drag and drop additional UE speakers into the PartyUp section to connect them wirelessly and amplify your sound.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
