Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the resin case and strap.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Water Resistance Guidelines
Your watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is not designed for scuba diving. Avoid operating buttons underwater to prevent water ingress. Exposure to hot water (e.g., hot tubs, saunas) can compromise the watch's seals and water resistance.

Figure 3: Water Resistance Chart. This chart illustrates different levels of water resistance and corresponding activities. The Armitron Sport 40/8284 is rated for 100M (330FT), suitable for swimming and snorkeling.
