Troubleshooting
Use the indicator lights on the front panel to diagnose common issues.
- Pump not running, POWER light solid, LOAD light solid: Indicates an underload condition, most commonly a dry well. Check water levels. The unit will reset after the set delay.
- Pump not running, POWER light solid, LOAD light flashing: Indicates an overload condition. Check the pump motor for obstructions or mechanical issues.
- Pump not running, POWER light solid, VOLTAGE light solid: Indicates under voltage. Check the power supply to the unit.
- Pump not running, POWER light solid, VOLTAGE light flashing: Indicates over voltage. Check the power supply to the unit.
- Pump cycling rapidly, LOAD & VOLTAGE lights flashing: Indicates rapid cycling. This could be due to a pressure tank issue or a faulty check valve.
- No lights: Check the main power supply to the Pumptec-Plus unit.
If the issue persists after basic troubleshooting, contact a qualified pump technician or Franklin Electric customer support.
