- Connect the RCA audio cables (not included) from the AUDIO OUT (L/R) jacks on the rear of the PD-D1200 to an available audio input (e.g., "CD" or "AUX") on your amplifier/receiver.
- If you have a compatible Teac cassette deck, you can connect it to the CD SYNC port for synchronized recording.
5.3 Power Connection

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Loading Discs
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button. The disc tray will open.
- Place up to five CDs onto the disc tray, ensuring they are seated correctly with the label side facing up.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the disc tray. The unit will read the discs.
6.2 Basic Playback
- To Play: Press the PLAY button. Playback will begin from the first track of the currently selected disc.
- To Pause: Press the PAUSE button during playback. Press again to resume.
- To Stop: Press the STOP button.
- To Skip Tracks: Press the SKIP (▶▶) button to go to the next track. Press the SKIP (◀◀) button to go to the beginning of the current track, or press twice to go to the previous track.
- To Select a Disc: Press the DISC SKIP button to rotate the carousel and select a different loaded disc.
6.3 Shuffle Play
Press the SHUFFLE PLAY button on the front panel or remote control to play tracks in a random order from all loaded discs. Press it again to deactivate shuffle play.
6.4 Using the Remote Control
Point the remote control directly at the front panel of the CD changer. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit. Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or it stops responding.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Disc Handling: Always handle CDs by their edges. Avoid touching the playing surface. Store discs in their cases when not in use to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
