4. Setup and Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the headlamp unit.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert three (3) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5. Attach the headlamp unit to the adjustable headband.
6. Adjust the headband to fit comfortably and securely around your head.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Light Modes

Press the power button located on the top of the headlamp to cycle through the available light modes:

• High Mode: Provides maximum brightness (300 lumens) for extensive illumination.
• Low Mode: Offers reduced brightness for extended battery life or closer tasks.
• Spot Mode: Concentrates light into a narrow beam for long-distance viewing.
• Area Mode: Spreads light widely for broad area illumination.
• Red Night Vision: Preserves night vision and is ideal for discreet use.

To turn off the headlamp, press and hold the power button for a few seconds, or cycle through all modes until the light turns off.

5.2 Digital Focus / Adjustable Beam

The headlamp features patented Digital Focus technology. Use the dedicated focus button (if present, or cycle through modes) to seamlessly transition between a narrow spot beam and a wide area beam, optimizing illumination for your specific task.

5.3 Memory Recall

The Memory Recall function allows the headlamp to turn on in the last used focus setting, providing quick access to your preferred illumination without needing to cycle through all options.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

6.3 Battery Replacement

When the light dims significantly or fails to turn on, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 4 for proper battery installation.
