Setup
1. Install SIM Card
- Carefully remove the battery cover located on the back of the phone unit.
- Locate the designated SIM card slot.
- Insert your active 2G GSM SIM card into the slot, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the diagram near the slot.
- Securely replace the battery cover.
2. Install Battery
- After installing the SIM card, insert the rechargeable battery pack into its compartment.
- Ensure that the battery contacts align properly with the phone's terminals.
- Replace the battery cover firmly.
3. Attach Antenna
- Screw the external antenna into the threaded port on the back of the phone unit.
- Tighten it clockwise until it is secure, but do not overtighten. A firmly attached antenna ensures optimal signal reception.
4. Connect Power Adapter
- Connect the small end of the power adapter cable to the charging port on the phone.
- Plug the larger end of the power adapter into a standard electrical wall outlet.
- Allow the phone to charge for at least 8-10 hours before initial use to ensure the battery reaches its full capacity. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually the red 'End Call' button) until the LCD screen illuminates and displays network information.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off.
Making Calls
- Lift the handset or press the Speakerphone button to activate the dial tone.
- Dial the desired phone number using the numeric keypad.
- Press the Call/Send button (usually green) to initiate the call.
- To end a call, replace the handset or press the End Call button (usually red).
Receiving Calls
- When the phone rings, lift the handset or press the Speakerphone button to answer the incoming call.
Speed Dial
- To set up speed dial: Navigate to the phone book or settings menu, select a speed dial slot (typically numbers 2-9), and assign a contact or phone number.
- To use speed dial: Press and hold the assigned numeric key (2-9) for a few seconds. The phone will automatically dial the stored number.
Sending and Receiving SMS
- Access the Menu button and navigate to the Messages section.
- Select Write Message to compose a new SMS. Enter the recipient's number and your message using the keypad.
- Select Send to transmit the message.
- Received messages can be viewed in the Inbox within the Messages menu.
Adjusting Volume
- During an active call, use the Volume Up/Down keys (typically the arrow keys) to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume to a comfortable level.
