Setup Instructions
Assembly of the AMERICAN PHOENIX Party Tent requires at least 4-6 people due to its size and weight. Ensure you have ample clear space for assembly. It is recommended to lay out all parts and identify them before beginning.
1. Unpack and Verify Components
Carefully unpack all boxes. Verify that all components listed in the packing list (not provided in this manual, refer to your product packaging) are present and undamaged. Components typically include:
- Galvanized Steel Poles (various lengths and types for roof, legs, and connectors)
- Metal Connectors (joints for poles)
- Heavy-duty PE Roof Cover
- Heavy-duty PE Sidewalls (with and without windows)
- Ropes and Stakes for securing
2. Assemble the Roof Frame
Begin by assembling the top frame of the tent. Connect the shorter roof poles using the appropriate connectors to form the rectangular roof structure. Ensure all connections are secure. The frame is designed with durable metal connectors and metal bases for stability.
3. Attach the Legs
Once the roof frame is complete, attach the vertical leg poles to the corner and intermediate connectors. Gradually raise the structure, ensuring it remains stable. It is crucial to have multiple people lifting simultaneously to prevent bending or damage to the poles.
4. Install the Roof Cover
Drape the heavy-duty PE roof cover over the assembled frame. Align the edges and corners, then secure it to the frame using the integrated fasteners or ties. Ensure the cover is taut to prevent water pooling.
5. Attach Sidewalls
Attach the sidewalls to the frame. The tent includes individual wall panels, some with windows, which can be easily removed for airflow or kept closed for protection. Secure them using the provided attachments (e.g., Velcro, ties, or zippers).

Figure 3: Tent with sidewalls partially open, demonstrating flexibility.
6. Secure the Tent
For maximum stability and safety, especially in windy conditions, secure the tent to the ground using the provided ropes and stakes. Anchor all leg bases and guy ropes firmly into the ground. Warning: Do not use the tent in extreme weather conditions, including heavy winds, snow, or thunderstorms.
Operating Instructions
The AMERICAN PHOENIX Party Tent is designed for temporary outdoor use. Proper operation ensures longevity and safety.
- Ventilation: Utilize the removable sidewalls to adjust airflow and temperature inside the tent. Open windows or remove panels as needed.
- Weather Conditions: Monitor weather forecasts. While the tent is waterproof and UV protected, it is not designed for severe weather. Disassemble the tent if strong winds, heavy rain, or snow are anticipated.
- Heating/Cooling: If using external heating or cooling units, ensure proper ventilation and maintain a safe distance from tent fabric to prevent fire hazards. Never use open flames inside the tent.
- Capacity: Do not overload the tent with excessive weight or people beyond its structural capacity.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your party tent.
- Cleaning: Clean the PE fabric with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
- Frame Inspection: Periodically inspect the galvanized steel frame for any signs of rust, bending, or damage. Ensure all connections remain tight. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
- Storage: When not in use, disassemble the tent and store all components in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure fabric is completely dry to prevent mold and mildew.
- Repairs: Small tears in the fabric can be repaired with a suitable patch kit. For significant damage, contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tent unstable or wobbly | Loose connections; insufficient anchoring; uneven ground. | Ensure all pole connections are fully inserted and tight. Use all provided stakes and ropes to anchor the tent securely. Choose a level setup surface. |
| Water pooling on roof | Roof cover not taut; improper frame assembly. | Re-adjust the roof cover to ensure it is stretched tightly across the frame. Verify that the roof frame is assembled correctly and all poles are at the correct angles. |
| Difficulty fitting cover/sidewalls | Incorrect frame dimensions; fabric shrinkage/expansion. | Double-check all frame measurements against the specifications. Ensure the tent is assembled on a flat surface. Fabric may be stiff when new; gentle stretching may be required. |
| Missing or damaged parts | Shipping damage; packaging error. | Contact AMERICAN PHOENIX customer support immediately with your purchase details and a description of the missing/damaged parts. |
