Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee
- Fill Water: Unscrew the upper chamber from the lower boiler. Fill the lower boiler with cold water up to the level of the safety valve.
- Add Coffee: Insert the filter funnel into the lower boiler. Fill the filter funnel with ground coffee (suitable for moka pots). Do not press the coffee down. If making 1 cup, use the adapter filter.
- Assemble: Screw the upper chamber firmly onto the lower boiler, ensuring a tight seal.
- Place on Base: Place the assembled moka pot onto the heating base. The base allows 360-degree rotation for convenience.
- Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (AC 220-240V ~ 50Hz). The LED display will illuminate.
- Start Brewing: Press the power button (usually indicated by an 'I' or power symbol) to start the brewing process. The coffee will begin to rise into the upper chamber.
- Automatic Shut-off: The moka pot features an internal thermostat for automatic shut-off once brewing is complete.
- Keep Warm Function: After brewing, the appliance will automatically enter a 30-minute keep-warm mode.
- Serve: Carefully remove the moka pot from the base by the handle and pour the coffee. The base remains cool to the touch.
