5. Setup and Installation
Installing your Aigostar LED bulb is a simple process. Follow these steps:
- Turn off Power: Before replacing any bulb, ensure the power supply to the light fixture is completely turned off at the switch or circuit breaker.
- Remove Old Bulb: Carefully unscrew the old bulb from the E27 socket by turning it counter-clockwise. Allow it to cool if it was recently in use.
- Insert New Bulb: Gently screw the Aigostar E27 LED bulb into the E27 socket by turning it clockwise until it is snug. Do not overtighten.
- Restore Power: Once the new bulb is securely in place, turn the power back on at the switch or circuit breaker.
- Test: Switch on the light to ensure the bulb is functioning correctly.

6. Operating Instructions
Operating the Aigostar E27 8W LED bulb is straightforward:
- Once installed in a compatible E27 fixture, simply use the wall switch or fixture switch to turn the light on or off.
- The bulb will provide instant full brightness (680 lumens) with a cool white light (6400K).
- As these bulbs are non-dimmable, they should not be connected to dimmer switches. Using them with a dimmer may cause damage to the bulb or the dimmer.

7. Maintenance
Aigostar LED bulbs require minimal maintenance due to their long lifespan and durable design.
- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off and the bulb is cool before cleaning. Wipe the bulb gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Inspection: Periodically check the bulb and fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections.
- Replacement: Replace the bulb if it becomes damaged or stops functioning. Always ensure the power is off before replacement.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Aigostar LED bulb, try the following troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bulb does not light up. | No power to the fixture, loose connection, or faulty bulb. | Check the wall switch and circuit breaker. Ensure the bulb is screwed in tightly. Test the bulb in another working fixture. If still not working, the bulb may be faulty and needs replacement. |
| Bulb flickers or blinks. | Incompatible dimmer switch, unstable power supply, or loose connection. | Ensure the bulb is not connected to a dimmer switch (these bulbs are non-dimmable). Check for stable power supply. Tighten the bulb in the socket. |
| Bulb is too dim. | Incorrect bulb wattage for desired brightness, or power issue. | Verify the bulb's lumen output (680 lm) meets your lighting needs. Ensure stable power supply. |
9. Recycling and Disposal
LED bulbs, while more energy-efficient, should be disposed of responsibly to protect the environment.
- Recycling: Do not dispose of LED bulbs in regular household waste. They contain electronic components that should be recycled. Check with your local waste management facility for proper recycling guidelines for electronic waste (WEEE).
- Broken Bulbs: In case of a broken bulb, avoid direct contact with broken glass. Carefully sweep up fragments using stiff paper or cardboard and place them in a sealed plastic bag. Wipe the area with a damp paper towel. Dispose of the sealed bag and cleaning materials according to local hazardous waste guidelines. Do not use a vacuum cleaner.
