4. Setup
4.1 Connecting the Printer
Connect the power adapter to the printer's power interface and then to an electrical outlet. Connect the USB cable from the printer's USB interface to your computer. If using a cash drawer, connect it to the RJ11 cash drawer interface.

4.2 Loading Thermal Paper
- Open the printer cover by pressing the release button or lever.
- Insert a new thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge is straight.
- Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter.
- Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place.

4.3 Driver Installation
The printer is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. An instruction CD is included with the necessary drivers. Insert the CD into your computer and follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
Important Note: This printer does not work with iOS Mac or Windows 8.1 systems. For Windows 8 or LINUX systems, please contact the seller for specific installation instructions before attempting to use the printer.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Ensure the printer is connected to power. Use the power switch located on the rear of the printer to turn it on or off.
5.2 Basic Printing
Once the drivers are installed and the printer is connected, you can send print jobs from your application. The printer supports the ESC/POS command set, allowing for various printing functionalities such as character enlargement, adjustable line spacing, and printing of bitmaps and downloaded graphics.

The FEED button on the control panel can be used to advance the paper manually.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the printer's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For the thermal print head, use a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab. Ensure the printer is turned off and cooled down before cleaning the print head.
- Paper: Use only high-quality thermal paper to ensure optimal print quality and to prevent damage to the print head. Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Environment: Operate the printer in a clean, dust-free environment to prolong its lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
- Printer Not Responding:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected and the printer is turned on.
- Verify the USB cable connection between the printer and the computer.
- Ensure the correct printer drivers are installed and selected in your operating system.
- Poor Print Quality:
- Check the thermal paper roll. Ensure it is loaded correctly and is not old or damaged.
- Clean the thermal print head as described in the Maintenance section.
- Paper Jam:
- Turn off the printer.
- Open the printer cover and carefully remove any jammed paper.
- Ensure the paper roll is properly seated and close the cover.
- Driver Issues (Windows 8/LINUX): As noted in the setup section, specific drivers or instructions are required for Windows 8 and LINUX. Contact the seller for assistance.
