4. Setup and Installation
The Noble Pro LED Undercabinet Light offers both plug-in and hardwire installation options. Choose the method appropriate for your application.

4.1 General Mounting
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the undercabinet surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Mark Mounting Locations: Using the fixture as a template, mark the positions for the two captive mounting screws. The fixture features multiple knockouts on the top and back for wiring flexibility.
- Secure the Fixture: Attach the fixture to the cabinet using the provided captive mounting screws. These screws are designed for smoother installation.
4.2 Plug-in Installation
- Follow the General Mounting steps (Section 4.1).
- Connect the provided power cord to the designated port on the fixture.
- Route the power cord safely to a nearby standard 120V electrical outlet. Avoid pinching the cord.
- Plug the power cord into the outlet.
4.3 Hardwire Installation
This method requires electrical wiring knowledge. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the circuit where the light will be installed. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Follow the General Mounting steps (Section 4.1).
- Prepare Wiring: Route the electrical supply wires (hot, neutral, ground) into the fixture through one of the knockouts.
- Make Electrical Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the supply wires using appropriate wire connectors:
- Connect the black fixture wire to the black (hot) supply wire.
- Connect the white fixture wire to the white (neutral) supply wire.
- Connect the green or bare copper fixture wire to the green or bare copper (ground) supply wire.
- Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Carefully tuck all wires into the fixture's wiring compartment.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
4.4 Linking Multiple Units
Multiple Noble Pro units can be linked together up to a total of 200 watts. Use appropriate linking cables (sold separately) to connect fixtures. Ensure the total wattage of linked fixtures does not exceed 200 watts.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered, the AFX Noble Pro Undercabinet Light is operated via the integrated ON/OFF switch located on the fixture. Simply toggle the switch to turn the light on or off.
6. Maintenance
The AFX Noble Pro LED Undercabinet Light requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or diffuser.
- LEDs: The LED light source is integrated and designed for long life. It is not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to open the fixture to replace LEDs.
7. Troubleshooting
