2. Setup

3.1 Brewing Espresso or Lungo
- Power On: Press either the Espresso or Lungo button to turn on the machine. The buttons will blink while heating up (approximately 25 seconds). They will glow steadily when ready.
- Fill Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Insert Capsule: Lift the handle, insert a Nespresso OriginalLine capsule, and close the handle firmly.
- Place Cup: Place your desired cup under the coffee outlet. The folding cup tray can be adjusted for different cup sizes.
- Select Beverage: Press the Espresso button for a short shot or the Lungo button for a longer shot. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.
- Eject Capsule: After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used capsule into the internal container.
3.2 Programming Cup Volume

- Start Brewing: Insert a capsule and press the button you wish to program (Espresso or Lungo).

4. Operating Instructions (Aeroccino Plus Milk Frother)
The Aeroccino Plus Milk Frother is designed for rapid one-touch preparation of hot or cold milk froth.
- Whisk Selection: Use the appropriate whisk for your desired froth. The frothing whisk creates dense foam, while the stirring whisk creates hot milk without foam.
- Fill Milk: Pour fresh, cold milk (whole or semi-skimmed, ideally 6-8°C) into the Aeroccino. Do not exceed the 'MAX' level indicator for frothing or the 'MAX MILK' indicator for hot milk.
- Hot Froth/Milk: Press the button briefly (less than 1 second). The indicator light will turn red. The frother will automatically stop when ready.
- Cold Froth: Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The indicator light will turn blue. The frother will automatically stop when ready.

- Descaling: Descale the machine every 3 months or after 300 capsules, whichever comes first, using a Nespresso descaling kit. Follow the instructions provided with the kit.

- After Each Use: Immediately after each use, rinse the Aeroccino jug and whisk with cold water.
- Deep Cleaning: Wash the jug, lid, and whisk with warm water and mild detergent. Do not immerse the base in water.
