1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the PM10AB device.
2. Slide the battery cover open.
3. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2 Connecting Electrode Wires and Pads

1. Connect one end of the electrode wire to the output port on the top of the PM10AB device. Ensure it is a 3.5 mm metal plug.
2. Attach the other end of the electrode wire to the conductive gel pads. The pads have a snap connector that fits onto the wire.
3. If using the Flex Belt, connect the electrode wires to the designated connection points on the belt.

4.3 Applying Pads/Belt

1. Ensure your skin is clean and dry before applying the gel pads or Flex Belt.
2. Remove the protective film from the gel pads.
3. Place the gel pads directly onto the desired treatment area. Refer to the included Acupuncture placement point chart for recommended locations.
4. If using the Flex Belt, wrap it around your waist or back, ensuring the conductive areas are in contact with your skin. Adjust the velcro for a snug, comfortable fit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press the 'ON/OFF' button located on the front of the device. The display will illuminate.
• To power off, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button until the display turns off.

5.2 Mode Selection

The PM10AB device features 10 different massage modes. Use the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through the available modes. Each mode offers a unique pulse pattern and sensation.

5.3 Intensity Adjustment

The device has two independent channels (A and B) for intensity control. Use the '+' and '-' buttons for Channel A and Channel B to increase or decrease the intensity of the electrical pulses. Start with a low intensity and gradually increase it to a comfortable level. The sensation should be strong but not painful.

5.4 Timer Settings

The device includes a timer function to set the duration of your therapy session. Use the 'T' (Timer) button to adjust the session length. Typical session durations range from 10 to 60 minutes. The device will automatically shut off once the timer expires.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Device

• Turn off the device and remove batteries before cleaning.
• Wipe the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

6.2 Cleaning and Storing Gel Pads

• After each use, gently wipe the adhesive side of the gel pads with a damp cloth to remove any skin oils or debris.
• Allow the pads to air dry completely (adhesive side up) before reattaching them to the pads holder or their protective film.
• Store the pads in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Replace gel pads when they lose their adhesiveness or become damaged.

6.3 Device Storage

When not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries from the device and store the unit and all accessories in a safe, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Weak or No Sensation:
  • Ensure electrode wires are securely connected to both the device and the pads/belt.
  • Increase the intensity level using the '+' button.
  • Check if gel pads are still adhesive and making good contact with the skin. Replace pads if they are worn out.
  • Ensure skin is clean and free of lotions or oils.
• Pads Not Sticking: Clean the adhesive surface of the pads as described in Section 6.2. If cleaning does not restore adhesiveness, replace the pads.
• Irregular Sensation: Ensure all connections are secure and pads are evenly applied. Try a different mode.
