4. Maintenance
4.1 Water Resistance
Your Casio Edifice EFR-547D-1A watch is rated for 100-meter water resistance. This means it is suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling. However, it is not recommended for scuba diving. Important: Do not operate the crown or push-buttons while the watch is wet or submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance.
4.2 Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and band periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stainless steel bands, a soft brush with mild soapy water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners or solvents.
4.3 Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by an unknown battery type (as per specifications). When the battery runs low, the watch may exhibit irregular operation or stop completely. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance integrity.
