Doorbell Receiver:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the doorbell receiver unit.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 x 1.5V R6 (AA) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are not included.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

  2. Insert 1 x 3V CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). One battery is included.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Mounting

Doorbell Receiver:

Place the doorbell receiver in a central location within your home where the sound can be easily heard. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or other electronic devices that may interfere with the wireless signal. It can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using appropriate screws (not included) if the unit has mounting holes.

Push Button:

Mount the push button near your entrance door. The push button has an IP44 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor use where it may be exposed to splashes of water. Use screws or double-sided adhesive tape (not included) to secure the push button firmly to a flat surface. Ensure the mounting location is within the 100-meter range of the receiver, considering obstacles like walls and doors which can reduce the effective range.

Operating Instructions

1. Testing the Connection

After installing batteries in both units, press the push button. The doorbell receiver should sound. If it does not, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

2. Selecting a Melody

The doorbell receiver offers 32 selectable melodies. To change the melody:

  1. Locate the melody selection button on the doorbell receiver. This is typically a small button on the side or back.
  2. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies. The receiver will play a short preview of each melody as you press the button.
  3. Stop pressing when you hear your desired melody. The selected melody will be saved.

3. Adjusting Volume

The doorbell receiver has 4 adjustable volume levels. To change the volume:

  1. Locate the volume control button on the doorbell receiver. This may be a dedicated button or combined with the melody selection.
  2. Press the button to cycle through the volume levels (e.g., low, medium, high, mute).
  3. Stop pressing when you reach your desired volume level.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries in both the doorbell receiver and push button when the sound becomes faint or the unit stops functioning. Always use new batteries of the specified type (3 x 1.5V R6 for receiver, 1 x 3V CR2032 for push button). Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

Cleaning:

Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the push button, while it is IP44 rated (splash-proof), avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to heavy jets of water.
