4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Headphones

  1. Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the Micro USB port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show a solid red light during charging.
  4. Once fully charged (approximately 3 hours), the red LED will turn off.

A full charge provides up to 25 hours of music playback.

4.2. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Multi-Function (MF) button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator blinks blue rapidly and you hear the voice prompt "pairing".
  3. Activate Bluetooth on your audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer).
  4. Search for and select "Bluedio U" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  5. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator will blink blue slowly, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

The headphones can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. To switch between devices, pause playback on the first device and start playback on the second.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the MF button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up blue and you hear "power on".
  • Power Off: Press and hold the MF button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator turns off and you hear "power off".

5.2. Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the MF button once.
  • Volume Up: Press the "Vol+" button.
  • Volume Down: Press the "Vol-" button.
  • Next Track: Press the "Next Track" (>) button.
  • Previous Track: Press the "Previous Track" (<) button.

5.3. Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Press the MF button once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the MF button for approximately 2 seconds.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the MF button.

5.4. 3D Surround Sound Effect

To enhance your listening experience, the Bluedio U (UFO) headphones feature a 3D surround sound effect:

  • Activate/Deactivate: Press and hold the "Next Track" (>) button for approximately 2 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt indicating the status change.

5.5. Wired Connection

To use the headphones with a wired connection, insert the 3.5mm audio cable into the audio jack on the headphones and the other end into your audio source. Note that some headphone functions, such as the built-in microphone and control buttons, may be disabled when using a wired connection.
