Important Safety Information
Read and understand all instructions and warnings before operating this hydraulic bottle jack. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Never exceed the rated capacity of 20 tons.
- Use only on a hard, level surface.
- Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with appropriate jack stands. Do not work under a vehicle supported only by the jack.
- Ensure the load is centered on the jack saddle.
- Do not use the jack for purposes other than lifting and lowering vehicles or other objects within its rated capacity.
- Keep hands and feet clear of the jack mechanism and the load during operation.
- Inspect the jack before each use for damage or leaks. Do not use a damaged or leaking jack.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses.

Setup
Before first use, or if the jack has been stored for an extended period, it is recommended to bleed the hydraulic system to remove any trapped air.
- Locate the Release Valve: Identify the release valve on the jack.
- Open the Release Valve: Turn the release valve counter-clockwise one full turn to open it.
- Pump the Handle: Pump the handle 6-8 full strokes to force any air out of the system.
- Close the Release Valve: Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed.
- Check Fluid Level: With the ram fully retracted and the jack in an upright position, remove the oil filler plug. The oil level should be just below the filler hole. If low, add high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Do not overfill.
- Replace Plug: Reinstall the oil filler plug.
The jack is now ready for operation.
Operating Instructions
Lifting a Load:
- Prepare the Work Area: Ensure the jack and the load are on a hard, level surface. Block wheels of vehicles not being lifted.
- Position the Jack: Place the jack directly under the lifting point of the load, ensuring the saddle is centered.
- Close Release Valve: Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed.
- Pump the Handle: Insert the handle into the handle socket and pump it up and down to raise the ram and lift the load.
- Secure the Load: Once the desired height is reached, immediately place appropriate jack stands under the load for support. The jack is a lifting device only and not intended to support a load for extended periods.
Lowering a Load:
- Clear the Area: Ensure no personnel or obstructions are under or near the load.
- Slightly Raise Load (if on stands): If the load is on jack stands, slightly raise it with the jack to remove pressure from the stands. Remove the jack stands.
- Slowly Open Release Valve: Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise. The load will begin to descend. Control the rate of descent by adjusting how much the valve is opened.
- Fully Lower Load: Continue to open the valve until the load is fully lowered.
- Retract Ram: Once the load is fully lowered, close the release valve and remove the jack.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your hydraulic bottle jack.
- Lubrication: Keep all moving parts of the jack lubricated with light oil.
- Cleaning: Keep the jack clean and free of dirt, grease, and oil. The paint finish is resistant for easy cleanup.
- Hydraulic Fluid: Check the hydraulic fluid level periodically (refer to Setup section). Use only high-quality hydraulic jack oil. Never use brake fluid, alcohol, glycerin, detergent, or motor oil, as these can damage the seals and components.
- Storage: When not in use, store the jack with the ram fully retracted in a clean, dry area.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the jack for any signs of damage, wear, or leaks. If any issues are found, do not use the jack and have it repaired by qualified personnel.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Jack will not lift load. | Release valve open; Low hydraulic fluid; Air in system; Overload. | Close release valve; Check and add fluid; Bleed air from system (see Setup); Do not exceed rated capacity. |
| Jack lifts slowly or erratically. | Low hydraulic fluid; Air in system; Contaminated fluid. | Check and add fluid; Bleed air from system; Replace fluid with new, clean hydraulic jack oil. |
| Jack leaks fluid. | Loose fittings; Damaged seals. | Tighten fittings; Contact customer support for seal replacement or service. |
| Jack will not hold load. | Release valve not fully closed; Internal seal damage. | Ensure release valve is firmly closed; Contact customer support for service. |
