4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your planetary mixer.
- Prepare Ingredients: Measure and prepare all ingredients before starting the mixer.
- Load Bowl: With the mixer OFF and unplugged, carefully add ingredients to the mixing bowl. Do not exceed the 40-quart capacity or the recommended kneading capacity of 26 lbs./hour for dough.
- Secure Guard: Close and secure the wire bowl guard. The mixer will not operate if the guard is not properly closed.
- Select Speed: The mixer offers three speeds: 96 RPMs (low), 168 RPMs (medium), and 306 RPMs (high). Select the desired speed using the control panel.
- Low Speed (96 RPMs): Ideal for heavy doughs (pizza, pita, bread) and initial mixing of ingredients. Use with the spiral dough hook.
- Medium Speed (168 RPMs): Suitable for batters, icings, and mashing potatoes. Use with the flat beater.
- High Speed (306 RPMs): Best for whipping cream, egg whites, and light batters. Use with the wire whip.
- Start Mixer: Press the "ON" button to start the mixer.
