Our advanced AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology ensures a spill-proof, maintenance-free experience with superior durability.
Key features of your EverLast AGM Battery include:
- Exceptional Starting Power: Delivers 395 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) and 30 AH (Ampere-Hours) of performance.
- Advanced AGM Technology: Combines high-density plate paste, AGM separators, and through-the-partition connections for maximum power-per-pound.
- Maintenance-Free Design: No need to check fluid levels or worry about acid leaks.
- Longer Life: Proprietary lead calcium alloy plates and tough polypropylene/synthetic resin cover ensure extended lifespan.
- Fresh Pack System: Electrolyte (acid) is packaged separately for safety and delivered in the correct volume for activation.

2. Setup and Initial Activation
Your EverLast CTX30CL-B-BS battery is shipped as a "Fresh Pack" unit, meaning the electrolyte (acid) is provided in a separate container. This ensures maximum shelf life and performance upon activation. Please follow these instructions carefully for initial setup.
2.1 Acid Filling Procedure
- Place the battery on a level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Carefully remove the sealing strip from the top of the battery. Do not discard the strip.
- Take the acid pack and remove the cap. Do not puncture or cut the pack.
- Invert the acid pack and align the sealed nozzles with the battery's fill ports. Push down firmly to break the seals and allow the acid to flow into the battery.
- Allow the acid to drain completely into the battery. This may take up to 20 minutes. Do not tilt or remove the acid pack until it is fully drained.
- Once drained, carefully remove the empty acid pack.
- Immediately seal the battery by firmly pressing the original sealing strip back onto the fill ports. Ensure it is securely in place.
2.2 Initial Charging
After filling, the battery requires an initial charge to reach its full capacity and ensure optimal performance. Connect the battery to a suitable 12-volt battery charger (preferably an AGM-compatible smart charger) and charge it until it reaches full charge, typically indicated by the charger's indicator light. This process can take several hours.
Important: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves, when handling battery acid. In case of contact, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention.
3. Operation
The EverLast CTX30CL-B-BS AGM battery is designed for reliable starting and power delivery in various powersport applications. Once properly activated and charged, it is ready for installation in your vehicle.
3.1 Installation
Ensure your vehicle's battery compartment is clean and free of debris. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the battery to the positive cable of your vehicle, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative cable. Secure the battery firmly in its compartment to prevent movement and vibration, which can shorten battery life.
3.2 Applications
This EverLast battery is suitable for a wide range of powersport vehicles, including:
- Motorcycles
- Scooters
- ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles)
- UTVs (Utility Terrain Vehicles)
- Personal Watercraft (PWC)
- Snowmobiles
- Lawn & Garden Equipment (e.g., riding mowers)

4. Maintenance
One of the primary benefits of the EverLast AGM battery is its maintenance-free design. You will not need to add water or check fluid levels, and there is no risk of acid leaks.
4.1 Off-Season Storage
For optimal battery life, especially during off-season storage (e.g., winter for motorcycles or summer for snowmobiles), it is recommended to keep the battery on a trickle charger or a battery maintainer. This prevents self-discharge and ensures the battery remains at full charge, ready for use when needed. Our AGM batteries are designed for less frequent charging during off-season storage compared to conventional batteries, holding a charge up to 3 times longer.
4.2 Terminal Care
While the battery itself is sealed, the terminal bolts can be susceptible to corrosion, especially in damp, snowy, or salty environments common with powersport equipment. To prevent this, regularly inspect the terminals and apply an anti-rust coating or battery terminal protection spray to the bolts and connections. This will ensure a clean, conductive connection and prolong the life of your battery and electrical system.
5. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your EverLast battery, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Battery Not Holding Charge: Ensure the battery was fully charged after initial activation. Check your vehicle's charging system (alternator/stator, regulator) for proper function. A parasitic drain in the vehicle's electrical system can also discharge the battery.
- Weak Starting Power: This often indicates a low state of charge. Recharge the battery fully. If the issue persists, the battery may be nearing the end of its service life or there could be a problem with the vehicle's starter motor or connections.
- No Power/Dead Battery: Check all battery connections for tightness and corrosion. Ensure the battery is fully charged. If the battery does not accept a charge, it may be faulty.
- Corrosion on Terminals: Clean any corrosion from the terminals and apply a protective coating as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure connections are tight.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please consult a qualified technician or contact EverLast customer support.
