Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your Air Hogs Shadow Launcher 2-in-1 Heli Launching Vehicle. This product combines a remote-controlled ground vehicle with a detachable, remote-controlled helicopter, offering versatile play options.

What's in the Box

• 1 Air Hogs Shadow Launcher Vehicle (includes detachable helicopter)
• 1 Remote Control
• 1 Rechargeable Battery (for helicopter)

Note: 6 AA batteries are required for the remote control and are not included.

Setup

1. Install Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert 6 fresh AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
2. Charge Helicopter Battery: Connect the helicopter's rechargeable battery to the charging port on the remote control using the provided cable. Allow sufficient time for a full charge as indicated by the remote control's LED (refer to remote control specific instructions for LED indicators).
3. Prepare Vehicle: Ensure the helicopter is securely docked within the Shadow Launcher vehicle. The vehicle is ready for ground operation or helicopter launch once the helicopter is charged and the remote control has fresh batteries.

Operating Instructions

Ground Vehicle Operation

Use the remote control's joysticks to steer the Shadow Launcher vehicle. The vehicle is designed for indoor and outdoor use on smooth surfaces. Avoid operating in wet conditions or on rough terrain that could damage the wheels or chassis.

Helicopter Launch and Flight

1. Launch: While the vehicle is stationary, press the designated 'Copter Eject Button' on the remote control to release and launch the helicopter.
2. Flight Controls: Use the remote control's joysticks to control the helicopter's ascent, descent, forward, backward, and rotational movements. Practice in an open area to familiarize yourself with the controls.
3. Landing: Gently reduce throttle to land the helicopter. Ensure a clear landing zone.
