Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the blaster with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use water or cleaning solutions, as this may damage internal mechanisms.
- Dart Care: Store Mega Darts in a clean, dry place. Avoid bending or crushing darts, as this can affect their flight performance and cause jams.
- Storage: Store the blaster in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Blaster not firing or darts not launching properly:
- Ensure the blaster is fully primed. Pull the priming slide all the way back until it clicks, then push it forward completely.
- Check if darts are properly loaded into the drum chambers.
- Inspect darts for damage (e.g., bent tips, torn foam). Damaged darts may not fire correctly. Replace with new, official NERF Mega Darts if necessary.
- Dart Jams: If a dart is jammed, ensure the blaster is not primed and carefully remove the jammed dart from the barrel or drum. Do not force the trigger if a jam is suspected.
