Setup and Installation

This trim is designed for use with WAC Lighting Tesla 2-inch housings (e.g., HR-2LED-R14D for remodel or HR-2LED-H09D-ICA for new construction). Ensure the housing is properly installed according to its own instructions before proceeding with trim installation.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the fixture location is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Prepare Housing: Ensure the recessed housing (sold separately) is correctly installed and wired according to its specific instructions. The housing should be securely mounted in the ceiling.
3. Connect Wiring: Locate the electrical connector within the recessed housing. Connect the trim's wiring harness to the housing's connector. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Insert Trim: Carefully push the LED trim assembly into the recessed housing. The spring clips or retention tabs on the trim will secure it in place against the ceiling. Ensure the trim sits flush with the ceiling surface.
5. Adjust Beam Angle (if applicable): This trim features 0-30 degree adjustability. Once installed, the light engine can be tilted to direct the light beam as desired.
6. Restore Power: Once the trim is securely installed and all connections are made, restore power at the circuit breaker.
7. Test Operation: Turn on the light switch to verify proper operation.

Operating Instructions

The WAC Lighting Tesla PRO LED trim operates like a standard light fixture once installed. It is controlled by a wall switch connected to the recessed housing.

• Power On/Off: Use the wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
• Dimming: This fixture supports smooth and continuous ELV (Electronic Low Voltage) and 0-10V dimming options down to 5%. Ensure you use a compatible dimmer switch for optimal performance. Refer to your dimmer switch's instructions for proper operation.
• Adjusting Beam Angle: The light engine can be manually adjusted up to 30 degrees to direct the light beam. Gently tilt the inner light engine to achieve the desired angle.

Maintenance

The WAC Lighting Tesla PRO LED trim is designed for minimal maintenance. The integrated LED light engine is maintenance-free.

• Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the trim. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or cleaners containing alcohol, as these can damage the finish.
