- Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Place the robot vacuum onto the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts align.
- For the first use, charge the robot for approximately 12 hours. Subsequent charges will typically take 4-5 hours. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status.
4.2 Preparing the Cleaning Area
Before operating the robot, clear the area of small objects, loose cables, and fragile items. The robot is equipped with obstacle and stair detection, but preparing the environment helps ensure optimal cleaning and prevents the robot from getting stuck.
5. Operating the Robot Vacuum
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the robot, press the main power button located on the top of the unit. Press it again to power off.
5.2 Cleaning Modes and Programming
The Vileda Relax Plus offers three cleaning levels/durations: 5, 30, and 60 minutes. Select the desired duration based on the size of the room or the required cleaning intensity.
The robot can be programmed to clean at specific times using the remote control. Refer to the remote control section for detailed programming instructions. This allows for automated cleaning even when you are not at home.
5.3 Obstacle and Stair Detection
The robot is equipped with sensors to detect obstacles and stairs, preventing collisions and falls. It will adjust its path when it encounters furniture or edges.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Vileda Relax Plus.

- Open the top cover of the robot.
- Remove the dust bin.
- Open the dust bin and discard collected debris.
- Close the dust bin and reinsert it into the robot.
6.2 Cleaning Filters
The filter should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power. A replacement filter is included with your purchase. To clean:
- Remove the dust bin as described above.

- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to remove dust. Do not wash the filter with water.
- Reinsert the clean filter into the dust bin. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
