1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and clean all removable parts as described in the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section.

1. Place the Motor Unit: Position the motor unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the power cord is not obstructing any pathways.
2. Assemble the Jug: Ensure the stainless steel blade unit is securely attached to the bottom of the blender jug.
3. Attach the Jug to the Motor Unit: Place the assembled blender jug onto the motor unit. Turn it clockwise until it locks securely into position. The blender will not operate if the jug is not correctly seated.
4. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the blender jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the jug.
5. Secure the Lid: Place the lid firmly onto the blender jug. Ensure the measuring cup is inserted into the lid opening.
6. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (240V).

5. Operating Instructions

The Bosch MMB21P0R SilentMixx Blender features a simple central rotary knob for control.

1. Power On/Off: The central rotary knob is set to '0/off' when the appliance is not in use.
2. Speed Settings:
   • Turn the knob to position '1' for a lower blending speed, suitable for softer ingredients or initial mixing.
   • Turn the knob to position '2' for a higher blending speed, ideal for harder ingredients, crushing ice, or achieving a smoother consistency.
3. Pulse Function: For short bursts of maximum power, turn and hold the knob to the 'Pulse' setting. Release the knob to stop. This is useful for chopping or breaking down larger pieces.
4. Blending Time: Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 60 seconds at a time. Allow the motor to rest for a few minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.
5. Adding Ingredients During Blending: You can add ingredients through the opening in the lid by removing the measuring cup while the blender is operating at a low speed.
6. Finishing: Once blending is complete, turn the rotary knob back to the '0/off' position and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
