1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and proper installation and operation of your CJ Tech Tilting TV Wall Mount, Model F00522. This mount is designed to securely hold flat panel televisions ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches in size, with a maximum weight capacity of 132 lbs (60 kg). 2. Safety Information

  • Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 132 lbs (60 kg). Exceeding this limit may result in serious injury or property damage.

Note: The hardware kit includes various screw sizes (M6x25mm, M8x25mm) and other fasteners (A, B, C, D, E, F) to accommodate different TV models and wall types.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully for a secure installation. It is recommended to have two people for installation, especially when lifting the television.

Step 1: Attach Brackets to the TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  3. Select the appropriate screws (A or B) and spacers (C or D) from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. The mount supports VESA patterns up to 600 x 400 mm.
  4. Attach the two vertical TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the selected screws and washers. Ensure the arms are centered and securely fastened. The hooks on the bracket arms should face upwards.

Step 2: Mark and Drill Wall Holes

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV.
  2. Use the provided mounting template to mark the drill hole locations on the wall. Ensure the template is level using the integrated bubble level or a separate level.
  3. For wood stud installation: Locate the center of the wood studs using a stud finder. Mark the drill points. Drill pilot holes using a 3/16" (5mm) drill bit.
  4. For concrete wall installation: Mark the drill points. Drill pilot holes using a 3/8" (10mm) masonry drill bit. Insert the concrete anchors (E) into the drilled holes until they are flush with the wall surface.

Step 3: Mount the Wall Plate

  1. Align the wall plate with the drilled holes.
  2. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts (F) and washers. Tighten all bolts firmly, but do not overtighten.
  3. Verify that the wall plate is securely fastened and level before proceeding.

Step 4: Hang the TV

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached bracket arms.
  2. Hook the TV bracket arms onto the top edge of the wall plate.
  3. Gently lower the TV until the bracket arms are fully seated on the wall plate.
  4. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV bracket arms. Secure these to prevent the TV from accidentally lifting off the wall plate.

5. Operating Instructions (Tilting Feature)

This wall mount features a tilting mechanism to optimize your viewing angle.

  • The mount allows for a vertical tilt of up to +10 degrees (downwards).
  • To adjust the tilt, loosen the tilt adjustment knobs or bolts located on the side of the TV bracket arms.
  • Carefully tilt the TV to your desired angle.
  • Once the desired angle is achieved, securely tighten the tilt adjustment knobs or bolts to lock the TV in place.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Periodic Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
  • Damage: If any part of the mount appears damaged or worn, discontinue use and contact customer support for replacement parts or advice.

7. Troubleshooting

  • TV not level:
    • Ensure the wall plate was installed level. If not, you may need to adjust the wall plate.
    • Some mounts allow for minor post-installation leveling adjustments on the TV bracket arms. Check your specific model for this feature.
  • TV feels unstable:
    • Verify all wall plate bolts and TV bracket screws are securely tightened.
    • Ensure the TV's weight does not exceed the mount's maximum capacity.
    • Confirm the wall type is appropriate and the anchors/studs are holding securely.
  • Difficulty tilting TV:
    • Ensure the tilt adjustment knobs/bolts are sufficiently loosened before attempting to tilt.
    • Check for any obstructions behind the TV.
