Setup and Installation

Tools Required: Pencil, Stud Finder (for wood stud walls), Drill, Drill Bits (appropriate for wall type), Socket Wrench, Phillips Head Screwdriver, Level (included).

Step 1: Prepare the TV

1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
3. Select the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
4. Attach the TV bracket plate to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened but do not overtighten.

Step 2: Locate Mounting Position on Wall

1. Determine the desired height for your TV. The center of the TV should ideally be at eye level when seated.
2. Use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent wood studs if mounting to a wood stud wall. Mark these locations with a pencil. For concrete/brick walls, choose a solid location.
3. Hold the wall plate of the mount against the wall at the marked location and use the included bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.

Step 3: Install Wall Plate

1. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will depend on your wall type and the chosen lag bolts/anchors.
2. For concrete/brick walls, insert the concrete anchors into the drilled holes.
3. Align the wall plate with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the lag bolts and washers. Tighten all bolts firmly with a socket wrench. Ensure the mount is securely fixed to the wall before proceeding.

Step 4: Mount TV to Wall Plate

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV (with the attached TV bracket plate) and hook it onto the wall plate.
2. Ensure the TV bracket plate is properly seated and locked onto the wall plate. Some mounts have safety screws or locking mechanisms; engage these if present.
3. Gently test the stability of the mounted TV before releasing it completely.

Operating the Mount

Your CJ Tech Full Motion TV Wall Mount allows for flexible viewing adjustments:

• Swivel: The mount can swivel up to 180 degrees horizontally (90 degrees left and 90 degrees right, depending on TV size and wall clearance). Gently push or pull the TV to the desired angle.
• Tilt: The TV can be tilted from -15 degrees (downward) to +15 degrees (upward). Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs on the TV bracket, adjust to the desired angle, and then re-tighten the knobs to secure the position.
