5. Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your pendant light.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or LED components.
- No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED components are integrated and not designed for user replacement. Do not attempt to disassemble the LED modules.
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections and mounting hardware for tightness.
6. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your pendant light, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Light Does Not Turn On:
- Check that the power is on at the circuit breaker.
- Ensure the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that all wiring connections are secure (ensure power is off before checking).
- Lights Flicker:
- Ensure all wiring connections are secure. Loose connections can cause flickering.
- If using a dimmer switch, ensure it is compatible with LED lighting. Incompatible dimmers can cause flickering or damage to the LEDs.
- Dim Light Output:
- If using a dimmer, ensure it is set to the maximum brightness.
- Verify the fixture is receiving the correct voltage (120V).
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact a qualified electrician or ET2 customer support.
