Setup and Installation

Before you begin, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. This fixture is designed for wall mounting over a standard 4" hexagonal recessed outlet box.

  1. Prepare the Mounting Strap: Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the strap is securely fastened.

  2. Make Electrical Connections:

    • Connect the bare copper or green ground wire from the fixture to the green ground screw on the mounting strap.
    • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) supply wire using a wire nut.
    • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) supply wire using a wire nut.
    • Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
  3. Mount the Fixture: Align the fixture with the mounting strap and secure it with the provided mounting screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and sealed to prevent water entry, especially in wet locations.

  4. Install the Bulb: Screw in a medium base incandescent bulb (max 100W) into the socket. Do not overtighten.

  5. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Once installed and power is restored, the fixture can be operated via the wall switch connected to the circuit. This fixture does not include a built-in switch or sensor.
