Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are turned off.
- Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black negative (-) clamp to a non-moving metal part of the vehicle's chassis, away from the battery and fuel lines.
- Ensure connections are secure.
- Turn on the jump start switch on the power station.
- Attempt to start the vehicle. If it does not start within 5-6 seconds, wait at least 3 minutes before trying again.
- Once the vehicle starts, turn off the jump start switch on the power station.
- Disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.
- Store cables properly.
Using the Air Compressor
The air compressor can inflate tires, sports equipment, and other inflatables.
- Screw the air compressor hose connector onto the tire valve stem or attach the appropriate accessory nozzle.
- Set the desired pressure using the pressure gauge or refer to the item's recommended pressure.
- Turn on the air compressor switch.
- Monitor the pressure gauge. Turn off the compressor once the desired pressure is reached.
- Disconnect the hose/nozzle.
- Do not operate the compressor continuously for more than 10 minutes. Allow it to cool down for 10 minutes between uses.
Using the 12V DC Power Outlet and USB Ports
The power station provides portable power for various devices.
- 12V DC Outlet: Plug your 12V DC appliance (e.g., portable cooler, car vacuum) directly into the 12V DC outlet. Ensure the appliance does not exceed the power station's maximum output.
- USB Ports: Connect your USB-powered devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) to the USB charging ports using their respective USB cables.
Charging the Power Station
Regular charging is crucial for maintaining the internal battery's health and readiness.
- AC Charging: Use the provided AC adapter to charge from a standard wall outlet. This is the primary charging method.
- DC Charging: Use the provided DC charging adapter to charge from a vehicle's 12V DC accessory outlet (cigarette lighter socket). This method is slower and primarily for maintaining charge, not for full recharging.
- Always ensure the unit is fully charged after each use and every 30 days when stored.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: Keep the internal battery fully charged. A discharged battery can be permanently damaged.
- Storage: Store the power station in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the jumper cables and clamps for any damage or corrosion.
