3. Setup

Projector Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the projector for ventilation. The projection distance will determine the screen size.

Connecting Devices

The EUG X660S+ projector supports a wide range of devices:

  • HDMI: Connect to laptops, PCs, gaming consoles (Xbox, PlayStation), Blu-ray players, etc.
  • VGA: Connect to older PCs or laptops.

  • AV (RCA): Connect to DVD players, VCRs, or other devices with composite video output.
  • Component Video (YPbPr): Connect to devices with component video output for higher quality analog video.

Power On/Off

  1. Connect the power cable to the projector and a power outlet.
  2. Press the Power key on the projector or the remote control to turn on the projector. The indicator light will turn green.
  3. To turn off, press the Power key again. The indicator light will turn red.

Focus and Keystone Adjustment

  • Focus: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the projected image is clear and sharp.
  • Keystone: If the projected image appears trapezoidal (wider at the top or bottom), use the keystone adjustment dial on the rear of the projector to correct the image shape.

4. Operating Instructions

Input Source Selection

After connecting your external device, press the 'Sources' button on the projector or remote control to cycle through available input sources (HDMI1, HDMI2, VGA, AV, YPbPr, USB, TV) until your device's signal is displayed.

Menu Navigation

Use the 'Menu' button to access the projector's settings. Use the 'Direction operation Key' (arrow buttons) to navigate through options and 'OK' to confirm selections. Settings include picture mode, sound mode, aspect ratio, and more.

Supported Media Formats

The projector supports direct playback of various media files from USB drives:

  • Audio: WMA, MP3
  • Image: JPEG, BMP
  • Video: MPG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVI, MP4, DIVX, TS, TRP, MKV, WMV, RM, RMVB

Audio Output

The projector has two built-in 5W speakers. For external audio, connect speakers or a sound system to the Audio OUT port on the rear panel.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Casing: Wipe the projector casing with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
  • Ventilation Vents: Regularly check and clean the ventilation vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air.

Lamp Life

The LED lamp in your EUG X660S+ projector has a lifespan of over 50,000 hours, significantly reducing the need for lamp replacement compared to traditional projectors.

Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for storage.
