Setup

  1. Charge the PA System:
    • Connect the AC power cord to the unit's power input and a 120V AC wall outlet. The CHARGE LED will illuminate.
    • Allow the unit to charge fully before first use (approximately 4-6 hours). The CHARGE LED will change color or turn off when fully charged.
    • Alternatively, the unit can be powered and charged using the 12V DC cigarette lighter cable in a vehicle.
  2. Install Batteries in Wireless Microphones:
    • Open the battery compartment of the handheld microphone and the belt-pack transmitter.
    • Insert the included 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
    • Close the battery compartments securely.
  3. Position the PA System:
    • Place the PA system on a stable, flat surface.
    • Ensure the speaker faces the audience for optimal sound projection.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off:
    • Locate the power switch on the unit.
    • Flip the switch to the 'ON' position. The POWER LED will light up.
    • To turn off, flip the switch to the 'OFF' position.
  2. Using Wireless Microphones:
    • Turn on the handheld microphone or belt-pack transmitter.
    • The RF LED on the PA system will illuminate, indicating a successful connection.
    • Adjust the WIRELESS MIC Volume knob to your desired level.
    • If interference occurs, the UHF system allows for 16 selectable channels. Refer to the microphone's specific instructions for changing channels to find a clear frequency.
  3. Using Wired Microphones:
    • Connect your wired microphone(s) to the WIRED MIC 1 or WIRED MIC 2 input jacks.
    • Adjust the corresponding WIRED MIC I Volume or WIRED MIC II Volume knob.
  4. Connecting External Audio Sources (AUX IN):
    • Connect an audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable.
    • Adjust the AUX IN VOLUME knob to control the playback level.
  5. Connecting an External Speaker (AUX OUT):
    • Connect a passive external speaker to the EXTERNAL SPEAKER output jack.
    • Ensure the external speaker's impedance matches the PA system's requirements (typically 4-8 ohms).
  6. Adjusting Tone and Echo:
    • Use the TONE knob to adjust the overall sound character, increasing or decreasing treble and bass.
    • Use the ECHO knob to add a reverberation effect to the microphone inputs.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:
    • Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
    • Ensure all ports are free from dust and debris.
  • Battery Care:
    • For optimal battery life, fully charge the internal lithium-ion battery after each use.
    • If storing the unit for an extended period, charge the battery every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
    • Remove AA batteries from wireless microphones if not in use for a long time to prevent leakage.
  • Storage:
    • Store the PA system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
    • Keep the unit covered to protect it from dust.
