2. Important Safety Information
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch cold surfaces, especially when hands are damp or wet. Skin may stick to extremely cold surfaces.
- Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
- Before performing any maintenance or cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the refrigerator for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
3.2 Placement
Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stoves, heaters). Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum clearance of 4 inches (10 cm) from the back and sides to allow for proper air circulation.

3.3 Leveling
Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the unit to ensure it is stable and level. This helps in efficient operation and prevents vibrations.
3.4 Power Connection
Before plugging in, allow the refrigerator to stand upright for approximately 2-4 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Connect the appliance to a dedicated 120V AC, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Start-up
After connecting to power, the refrigerator will begin cooling. It may take several hours for the unit to reach its set temperature.
4.2 Temperature Control
The adjustable thermostat control allows you to set the desired cooling level. Locate the control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial to a higher number for colder temperatures and a lower number for less cold temperatures. A setting of '3' is often recommended for general use.

4.4 Reversible Door
The refrigerator door is reversible, allowing it to open from either the right or left side. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full product manual for steps on how to reverse the door swing.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the efficiency and appearance of your refrigerator. Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. The removable shelves can be washed with soap and water.
5.2 Defrosting
The freezer compartment will accumulate frost over time. When the frost layer becomes about 1/4 inch thick, it is recommended to defrost the unit. To defrost, unplug the refrigerator, remove all food items, and leave the door open. Place a towel at the bottom to absorb melted ice. Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; temperature control set to "OFF". | Ensure plug is secure; reset circuit breaker; adjust temperature control. |
| Temperature is not cold enough. | Door opened too frequently; warm food placed inside; poor air circulation; temperature control set too high. | Minimize door openings; allow hot food to cool before storing; ensure proper clearance around unit; adjust temperature control to a colder setting. |
| Excessive noise. | Unit not level; contact with wall/cabinet; loose parts. | Adjust leveling legs; reposition unit; check for loose components. |
| Moisture builds up inside. | High humidity; door not closed properly; food not covered. | Ensure door is sealed; cover all food items. |
