Installation and Setup

This section outlines the general steps for installing your subwoofers into the Atrend Bbox enclosure. Ensure you have all necessary tools and components before proceeding.

1. Preparing the Subwoofers

• Ensure your 10-inch subwoofers are compatible with the enclosure's mounting depth and cutout diameter.
• Prepare your speaker wire by stripping the ends. For a secure connection, it is recommended to use crimp-on ring terminals or spade connectors for the internal wiring.

2. Internal Wiring

• Connect the prepared speaker wires to the internal terminals of the enclosure. Ensure positive (+) and negative (-) connections are correctly matched.
• Feed the other end of the speaker wires through the subwoofer cutout holes.

3. Mounting Subwoofers

5. Securing the Enclosure

To prevent the enclosure from sliding in your vehicle's trunk or cargo area, consider using Velcro strips on the bottom of the enclosure. The hook side of the Velcro can grip the carpet, providing a stable placement.

Once installed, connect your amplifier to the vehicle's power source and audio unit according to your amplifier's instructions. Power on your audio system and gradually increase the volume to test the subwoofer's performance. Adjust amplifier settings (gain, crossover, bass boost) for optimal sound quality and to prevent distortion or damage to your subwoofers.
